James (Jim) has more than 25 years of experience in the multifamily rental business owning and managing properties with his wife Judy.  Jim has been a licensed Realtor since 2007 at Homestead Realty LLC. He is still actively assisting people in buying and selling homes and rental properties. Prior to his real estate career, he spent 24 years in domestic & international sales and was a high school educator, administrator, and coach. Jim and Judy have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. He is active in the church choir and is on the boards of Heartland Senior Living and 1^st Financial Bank in Winnebago. Jim’s hobbies include water skiing, downhill skiing, trout fishing, and upland game hunting.

Along with being an owner of Homestead Property Management LLC, Judy is also the owner/broker of Homestead Realty LLC. She began her real estate career in 1984 and has been the broker for Homestead Realty LLC since 1986. Over 37 years of experience have given Judy an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the real estate transaction, as well as an excellent “handle” on the real estate market in southern Minnesota. Her professional goal continues to be ensuring that clients and customers receive the highest level of professional service possible. When Judy isn’t busy assisting real estate clients and teaching, she enjoys spending time with her 6 grandchildren.

Anne works with both the real estate brokerage and property management sides of the business. Her interest in real estate sparked in at a young age, when she began helping her dad fix up his rental properties. Since then, Anne has gained multiple years of experience as a leasing manager, a property manager, and a real estate agent, and she has even begun flipping houses of her own. Anne grew up in Winnebago, MN and is excited to be back in the area! When she isn’t working, Anne enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping for deals, fishing, running, and interior decorating.

Judd, son of James and Judy Ness, grew up around real estate and rental properties. He has worked at his parents’ rental properties since he was twelve and acquired his real estate license at the age of eighteen. Additionally, he has a portfolio of his own rental properties. Judd brings a multitude of maintenance skills to his position with Homestead Property Management. When he’s not at the office, Judd enjoys fishing and hunting with his dog Emma.

Mike has been a dedicated member of the Homestead Property Management LLC team for 15 years! He has also been a dedicated member of the community for many years. In fact, he was born and raised in Winnebago. Mike loves the flexibility that his job offers and says he has great people to work for. In his free time, Mike spends a lot of time outdoors. When he isn’t hunting and fishing, he’s trapping!
